What's The Worse Apple Can Do?

Once again, it's a tale of Apple restricting what can and can't be done with its devices. Apple's heavy-handedness has been slammed in all quarters. Developers are horrified, and podcaster Dave Weiner put their dilemma succinctly:

I wouldn't invest in or develop an iPhone app because Apple could decide not to approve it, and if they don't approve it you can't sell it. You can't even give it away. You don't find out if you've been approved until the last step, after you've fully invested, so you could lose, totally, if Apple says no.

It's crazy how Apple is taking advantage of their loyal customers. They are completely restricting open source to an extreme. Not being allowed to talk about your product and be able to further it developmentally is ridiculous.
